Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als I am kind-hearted, gentle, thoughtful, calm, caring, giving, open/honest, intelligent, intellectually curious, and have a sense of humor. I am not the comedian; but can appreciate one. Saying I am independent would be a lie, I believe that we are all interdependent. I have a strong sense of self and am looking for someone who has a strong sense of self and will be my equal. I am looking for someone that will interact with me on a peer to peer basis. I have learned to listen well. I believe that conflict is a necessary part of any intimate relationship. What is crucial is how that conflict is dealt with. For me, it has to be an open conversation where both sides are free to speak their thoughts without insulting or demeaning the other. It is to stay focused on the topic at hand and nothing else. Time-outs are acceptable. One is never allowed to attack or belittle their partner. To harm others is to harm oneself. Those are just some of my thoughts on conflict. I think we learn much by being open.

I expect my mate to enjoy life and all that it has to offer, to be open to new ideas and new things, to teach me new ideas and new things, to give me different ways to look at some things, to be there always for me no matter what comes, to be honest and open, to be able to communicate well and often, to never hold secrets from me, to touch me, caress me. I demand that my mate be on the same level as me, not above me nor below me, for life is an adventure together. I expect grace and compassion. One who has a joy for life and for love. One who express her love well and often. Some who enjoys lovemaking and is adventurous in lovemaking.

I am a spiritual man. I walk with God on a constant basis. He guides my life. I do not fear God. I love God. He has shown me His grace and His mercy.

In descending order, my priorities are: God, self/mate (we are one), family, friends, and work. I enjoy outdoor festivals such as burning man, motorcycle rallies, and renaissance faires. I also enjoy ballet, theatre, and art. I am a trained photographer.

I smoke a cigar every 2-3 weeks. I may drink once or twice a week, and then never more than two drinks. Sometimes I go for weeks without alcohol. Alcohol is something that I can take or leave. I do not do drugs and never have. I am losing weight due riding my bicycle vigorously almost daily. I do have some tattoos, which I am fond of. I have tattoos on both legs and both upper arms. My tats are mostly wolf related. I swim and scuba dive. I have flown helicopter.

It is my believe that we need to live in the now. There is no past, it is gone. The future is yet to come. There is only the now. If we truly live in the now, we will see more of life and enjoy more of it. I believe that we must always do our best, never make assumptions, take nothing personally and always be impeccable with our word. Those four things are simple phrases that when followed have a tremendous impact on your life.
